Keira walked through Kenwood park. She remembered how her mom and aunts always took the girls there, Especially her, Lillly, Linda, Melinda and Kaelyn as they always enjoyed it most. Since before Keira's memory went back they used to do that. Sometimes one of the boys, or a friend would join in with the girls too.
When Keira was around seven they all got taken up with school- they were going to both Magic School and normal school so it was bound to be hard- it still is as Keira was still going to both schools. In other words, the picknicks became less and less and all the things happening in their Magical and School lives, and in the Charmed one's Love, Work and perosnal lives it stopped. She missed the picknics- it sort of was a getaway when you needed one, so that you know everything wasn't completely screwed up.

Kaelyn walked along in the park. She often just walked, just to clear her head. It helped her to think and even though she knew she shouldn't she was avoiding her mother, her and Linda were indentical and everytime Paige looked at her she saw her pan and knew that she didn't see Kaelyn she saw Linda. Her long blonde hair blew in the wind slightly, her hair was in little waves and she was dressed mostly in black. Usually she would resort to more colorful clothes but it was one of them days where everything seemed harder than what it was.
She sighed and sat down on one of the benches, the more she thought about the past the more it hurt. The last thing she needed was her powers to go screwy and they always did when she was upset. Lately they were getting harder to control - not that she would admit that to anyone.

Keira walked around a big three that was blocking her view of most of the park and saw Kaelyn sitting on one of the benches. From the look on her cousins face, and the black clothes she had a feeling Kaelyn wasn't in the best mood. Lately her aunt Paige had been looking aat Kaelyn and seeing Linda. She knew that must be hard on Kaelyn. Keira wished her cousin would get out of that shell, and be herself again.
She doubted that Kaelyn had gotten over Linda and Lilly dying yet. She walked over but didn't sit down just yet, her high-heeled shoes making slight click-like sounds on the paved area of the park where people walked, the path. She walked off of that area and onto the grass as Kaelyn was in one of the many benches on the grass rather than on the sidelines of the pathway. "Hey."

She looked up when she heard the familar voice of her cousin. Keira had taken the place of a sister in her life but she wouldn't replace Linda and Kaelyn knew Keira wasn't trying to, She was just been there for her. "Hey..." She said quietly, normally Kaelyn would have a smile on her face and cheering everyone else up - she liked to help people out.
Kaelyn couldn't cry anymore tears over her sister, it was like she had cried them all. She smiled weakly and patted the bench so Kiera would sit down. When Linda was alive it was only Kiera that could tell the difference between Kaelyn and Linda.

Keira returned the smile and sat down next to Kaelyn. She knew Kaelyn hadn't smiled a happy smile just now- she wanted to see that smile and she hoped it woud return soon. "What's up?" she asked casually, not sure what else she could say. She knew Kaelyn wouldn't mind her not being able to say anything else- Kaelyn loved her like a sister. apart from their parents and Kyle, Keira was the only one who could tell them apart as Melody was currently to young to tell the difference between her half-sisters- Melody was only eight when Linda and Lilly died.

Kaelyn glanced at her when she asked what was up. She knew what would have been Linda's answer 'the sky' Linda was always the sarcastic one. "Just thinking..." She sighed. "Need some inspiration." Kaelyn sung about what she was feeling but because they reflected her mood most of them were sad and they were starting to get her down. She was starting to feel worse than what she already did. She rested her head against her cousin's shoulder.

"Well...maybe you need to relive some of your other songs...like Walking on Sunshine," she said smiling at her. That song always cheered her up- Kaelyn had one of the most beautiful voices she ever heard. Keira hugged Kaelyn. "Hunny you need to stop focusing on the bad," she told her.

Kaelyn smiled, this time it was actually a real smile. "I only sing that to cheer you up." She said with a small laugh. "Hard to stop focusing on the bad when I'm a constant reminder to the bad things to mom. I can see it when she looks at me. She doesn't see me, She sees Linda."

"Well....try singing it to cheer you up too one day," she said. She smiled to herself though- she ahd never known that Kaelyn only sang that song to cheer her up. Sometimes Keira needed to be reminded that she had people around her who cared for her alot. "Your mom loved Linda alot, and she will continue too- not even death can stop that," she said, "But she loves you just as much- she doesn't always see Linda...sometimes she sees you too." Kaelyn was the older one, and gave better advice than Keira did in Keira's opinion but sometimes Keira needed to take that place.

Kaelyn smiled weakly "Doesn't seem like that sometimes. I always were the quiet one. Linda was the super witch I just tagged along and was the voice of reason." She never said No, It wasn't that she didn't have a back bone. She just liked to help people.

Keira wasn't sure what to say to that one. She was the super-witch in her sisters, but Lilly had never tagged along. She was just...there, and thats one of the million things Keira had liked about her. "So...maybe you just need to find yourself hunny," she suggested. "Or you'll be vulnerable." And that was the last thing Keira wanted for Kaelyn...she couldn't lose anyone else, not again.

She sighed "It hurts to remember her, It hurts to think." Everything reminder her of her, It felt like half of her had died along with Linda and it was killing her. Keira still had a sister, she still had felicity. Melody was too young for Kaelyn to tell her everything, even though She would do anything to protect Melody - it wasn't the same.

"Well you need to move on," said Keira, tears coming to her eyes as she remembered all the pain and suffering she herself went through before she could move on. "And you have some many people around you who love you, our family is big...even if there are four people missing." Keira had Felicity but Felicity couldn't help her get over the pain, it was something she had to do for herself.

"Not that easy though is it?" She asked sadly, even though she wished it was. She looked up as she decided to take some or Keira's advice. She sang softly and quietly at first. "I used to think maybe you love me, now baby I'm sure And I just cant wait till the day, when you knock on my door Now every time I go for the mail box, gotta hold myself down 'cos I just cant wait till you write me, you're coming around.
I'm walking on sunshine (whoa oh)"

A little blond girl nearby with blue eyes had dropped her ice-cream cone a minute before and was crying, her mom trying desperately to confort her stopped when she heard Kaelyn singing. Kaelyn was singing quietly but the girl started to smile. Keira smiled too and hugged Kaelyn. "It's the hardest thing i've ever done but i know you can do it."
