Christina shrugged. "Get ready." She murmured, watching the stake whistle through the air towards where she assumed the Vampire's heart was. She sighed and prayed that it would hit the mark. Hit hit hit hit hit...

"Took you that long, did it?" he said, giving her an evil grin. He turned towards the direction of the stake, and started laughing. He stood there, even stepping up a little bit so the stake went in faster, or so they would have liked. "You think a thing as little as a stake could hurt me?" he said as the stake got nearer and nearer. Finally as it was right about to puncture his heart, the stake bounced off of his chest...with a tiny shield that repelled it. "Like I said, you can't Vanquish me. Nor can you you things as sily and diotic as a stake. That may work on a regular Vampire, but not me. I am not a regular Vampire. I am a Vampire Prince, and extremely rare species now adays" he said as his fingures curled on both hands. He had put his strangulation power on Christina and Crystal, to get his revenge.

"Argh!" Christina shrieked in fury. "Dammit!"She fired a strong energy ball at Raine, wailing for her daughter to attack him. "Jesus, Crystal! Help yourself!"

Crystal watched as the stake bounced off of Raine, to say the least, she wasn't surprised. Just like she wouldn't be surprised if Henry and Zander cast a spell and it wouldn't work. Then Raine raised both his hands to strangle her and her mother. Crystal though it a bit ironic that the power she favored from herself was being used against her. Caught in the irnony and shock she grabbed at her throat instictively and tried to gasp for breath. That of-course didn't work and just left her a bit light-headed.
She had heard her mother say to save herself and decided on once last attempt. It probably wasn't what her mother expected from her but it was something; she smoked out. Crystal smoked in behind Raine on thoughts of attacking him but as soon as she did land she busied herself taking a few deep breaths. Then, she realized, she didn't know how to hit him effectively, so instead she just used her fury abilities to make him hear screams of voices he had previously heard.

Raine laughed at Christina's failure. She sent an energy ball at him, quite a strong one too. But he was protected by his mother, so it hit him and nothign happened. "Is that all you've got?" he said as an evil grin came apon his face, ever so sneakily. "You know what? I'm....." he trailed off, hearing those voices and screams of pain once again. Raine collapsed on the ground, knees first. He had to stop this; it was one of his weaknesses. He would get his mother to protect him from that too, so he could do his job. Then he had an idea. He threw a fire ball behind him, a big and ferocious one.....right at Crystal. He made sure it hit something, hoping right in the middle of her chest.

As the Fireball headed right for Crystal; looking quite powerful and deadly for anything, Henry thrusted his hand in the direction of both Crystal and the oncoming flaming threat. The Fireball immediately turned in blue Orbs and led for a nearby oak tree. The orbs crashed into the tree and the Fireball disappeared as well as the orbs. He didn't like saving someone who was out for his family but the Vampire was the bigger threat. "Maybe if I try a Binding or a Paralysis kind of spell? Just gotta try the right words" he thought looking over at the Vampire.

Crystal's eyes widened as a fire ball came towards her. She wasn't sure exactly what to do when all of a sudden the fireball turned into blue orbs and hit a nearby oak tree. Once again, she looked over at the Halliwell. Twice, it was twice now that he had saved her and she wasn't sure what to think. "I'm a big girl, Halliwell, I can take care of myself," snapped Crystal. She didn't care that she had no right to be mad, now she owed him, and she hated that deeply.
She was getting tired of the vampire. It was making her tired and she didn't exactly want to just start kicking it uselessly like her mother had done. If anything he wanted his mother to show up so they could kill her but she doubted that would happen.

Zander wasn't quite sure what to do, he had never really been that good and just coming up with spells on the spot. If he had time to just sit down and think about them, then he could do some pretty good one's, but on the spot didn't work so well. So as his mind raced, he recalled a spell that he saw while flipping through the Book of Shadow's one of many times that he had looked through it. He knew they used it to vanquish some demon before, but it wasn't specific, so he figured it would work now too. "Small of mind, big of woe, the pain you caused, you now will know," Zander said as his eyes narrowed, looking right at Raine. He didn't know if it would kill him, or just cause him the pain that he had caused other people, which may be enough to kill him. He hoped it did one of the two. [/color]
