Piper's long, dark brown hair was fanned across her pillow as she was turned on her side with her back to the door of her bedroom. Here eyes were closed as she was fast asleep on her soft bed.
Piper had had a long day. Her restaurant was open on Fridays all afternoon. It was six in the evening and Piper had spend from morning to five in her restaurant. She had always dreamed of it but sometimes it was hard. Her assistant manager was supposed to be in charge today but they had run out of three of the ingredients for their most popular dish, and so she was called in and once she got there...well she didn't get a chance to leave.
Tired, Piper returned home only saw Melinda for a few minutes before going straight to her bed. It was too early to go to sleep but she was just going to take a short rest.

Leo had a long day filled with charges. It was like all of them were in a panic today. Finally, when there were no more voices in his head, he orbed into his and Piper's bedroom. When he orbed in, he found her sleeping, or what looked like she was sleeping. Careful not to wake her, he opened his drawer to his beuro. He needed to change his shirt because be had gottensomething on it. He wasn't sure what, but it was sticky. He took off the sticky shirt and hung it up on a hanger, so he would remember to wash it before he put it away. He looked through his drawer, trying to find a loose shirt.

Piper was so drained that she didn't hear anything Leo was doing. She was deep in her sleep. Then again he wasn't being loud but still. When Piper got her restaurant, she was happy and excited- her career dream was coming through. She had to give up P3 as she built the restaurant in that same spot but still. P3's sign was hung at the back of the restaurant as memory. Suddenly a strong wind blew through the window and a vase crashed to the floor and Piper heard it distantly from her little dreamland. She opened her eyes, but her back was still turned to Leo.

"Where did I put it?" he said, looking for his blue button down shirt. He turned around quickly when he heard the vase crash to the floor. Hoping that didn't wake Piper, he went over to the vase and picked up the pieces. He threw them out in the bathroom trashcan. They made a noise that hopefully didn't wake her.

Piper turned over so she was on her back and stared up at the ceiling above her. There was still a black mark from a time a demon had attacked when Melinda was a two years old and sleeping in Piper and Leo's room. She heard a slight rattle-ish noise and sat up on the bed, looking towards the bathroom area and saw Leo there. "What was that?" she asked him sleepily.

Leo looked over to the bed where Piper was awake and looking at him. He heard her speak to him and smiled. "The wind knocked the vase over and then I put the pieces in the trash, that's all" he said as he came out of the bathroom. "Did I wake you?" he asked as he looked at her.

"No, apparently the vase did," she replied, smiling back at him. She was sure it was a crash that had awakened her and not Leo. She removed the coverlet from on top of her and realised she hadn't even changed before she fell asleep. She was still in her work clothes- an elegant black top and a black pants. In the evening she wore a skirt, nor pants though. She was running a restaurant now, not a nightclub so she couldn't look too casual.

"Okay then" he said as he went over to the burrow. "Piper do you know where my blue button down shirt is?" he asked, rummaging through his burrow again. It was bugging him that he couldn't find it, Piper was the one thta was good at keeping track of those things.

Piper sighed. Leo had lost that shirt again? Was Piper the only tidy one in the house? Well whenever she asked that out loud everyone present always said yes so maybe she was. "It's in the wash," she reminded him, shaking her head disapprovingly but all the same she was smiling.

Leo looked at her. "Oh, that's right. Hm...what am I going to wear?" he said, going back to his drawer. He glanced at her, and noticed she was smiling. "You're smiling" he said with a smile. "You're looking at me" he said as he looked at her. He turned around, smiling and let out a little laugh. It was a sort of giggle....but guys don't giggle. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

"Well wear the white one," she suggested. "White always makes you look," she put on a mock thoughtful look on her face. "Like a whiteligher, there's irony in that one," she said, unable to come up with another term. She refused to say angel- she hated the elders.

Leo laughed as he grabbed a white undershirt (or a tank, whatever you want to call it) and then he pulled on his white button down shirt. He didn't bother buttoning it (like the sig). "That's better. No more sticky something" he said a she chuckled. He walked over and said on his side of the bed, facing Piper. "I guess it was another long day at the restaurant?" he asked, looking at her.

((OOC:: Lol I was looking at the sig when i thought of Piper's reply))
"Sticky something? Oh honey did a demon attack you?" she asked. She remembered Phoebe talking about the time Cole had proposed to her, they were covered a a green goo-like substance- talk about the worse time to propose. Paige was lucky, her first proposal was nothing like that, it was on Golden Gate Bridge. Piper's was in a bathroom. She nodded when he asked if it was another long day at the restaurant. "Well what else do you expect...it was supposed to be my day off." When you had one of the most popular restaurants in the whole of San Francisco, there were disadvantages. "Phoebe's opponent had lunch there today." There was a paper going against Bay Mirror with a popular advice columnist from New York.

"Yeah, although the stain was a bluish color. But demons are demons" he said as he listened to her day. He knew she hated it when she got called in on her day off. "Why don't you take tomorrow off? Can you do that?" he asked her. She did own the restaurant, so she should be able to take a day off when she wants to. "He was there? She's not going to like that, you know how she gets when you talk about him" he said as he gave a small smile. "She's turned him into a turkey and a pig now" he said, a small laugh getting out.

((OOC: Well i'm making this opponent a different person and a she but you can leave that, i'll fit it into the RP))
"Oh no not him," she said. "Didn't you hear he got transferred to New Jersey two years ago?" she asked him. Things had been so mixed up, she wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't heard. "Now that I think of it he did move to Turkey after a few months," she said with the smile she used when she found something amusing. "This one's a female- she's been transferred from New York and works for Bridge News, that Paper that came out a while back."
"I can take a day off tomorrow...unless something goes wrong again."
