Felicity sat in her room, a container of chocolate frosting in one hand and a plastic spoon in the other. It had only taken Felicity the last few months to realize that chocolate frosting was the easiest and cheapest therapy session in the enitre world. Armed with this, some graham crackers, and a late night movie--The Da Vinci Code--Felicity took this as her easy night. But there was one thing that was bothering her... her mother had been knocking on the door every few minutes for the past hour, hoping she would come out, but Felicity wouldn't budge.
She tucked herself deeper underneath the sheets and comforter of her bed and kept her gray eyes on the television, watching Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou running from some French cops. She wished she could do that, just run away from everything... but to Felicity everything was harder than it seemed nowadays.

"Felicity..." She knocked her her door yet again. Phoebe hated the job of trying to be strong for everyone but been a single parent she didn't have much choice. She couldn't fall apart she had to be there for Keira and Felicity even though they both seemed to be avoiding her. "Hunny... Please come out." Felicity seemed to spend more time in her room then anywhere else.

Melody was heading into her room when she saw her aunt Phoebe at the door. "Whats going on aunt Phoebe" Melody asked as she opened the door and entered the room wearing her favorite pajamas with mickey mouse all over them as she headed to her bed? Although the details about her cousin and sister's death were kind of a blur to her it still hurt to loose them and it hurt to see her family going through so much pain and she couldn't do a thing about it.

Felicity's eyes widened as she saw her mother's face by the door. She didn't want to see her. She buried her face after pulling a pillow from behind her. "Melody! Shut the door!" she said in a muffled voice through the pillow. If she had sounded mad, it wasn't toward her cousin, it was that because her mom had seen her when Felicity didn't want to be seen at all.

Melody looked at her aunt standing in the door then at her cousin, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't just walk up and close the door in her aunts face and she didn't want to upset her cousin so she was kinda caught in the middle as she looked at the two of them trying to decide what to do.

"Would you all please stop trying to ruin my night!!! Except Melody, who lives in this room, all others leave!" she yelled, turning over on her stomach and looked out the window. Her eyes were red from crying into the pillow as Melody paused, but they were also filled with anger as she looked back to her cousin and her mom. "Melody... could you just please shut the door?" she asked rather nicely, and different than her previous tone.

Melody walked to the door "I'm sorry aunt Phoebe" she mumbled under her breath as she closed the door in her aunts face and went back to her bed to finish reading. She wasn't sure if she should say anything to Felicity or not so she choose to just read for the moment and decided to just talk to her cousin later after she calmed down.

Felicity turned herself back around to face the television. Taking hold of the remote, she started to flip the channels, now that her movie was ruined by her screaming. She glanced over at Melody, kind of feeling sorry that she had put her cousin into the middle of it. She didn't mean too, but she couldn't bring herself to face her mother for a long long time. She looked at a picture on her headboard of her, Lilly, and Keira. "Look, Melody, I'm sorry for putting you through that, I shouldn't have..."

Melody looked up at her cousin "look its ok, I'm used to it. I know how you feel but at least your mom wants to spend time with you, I have barely seen my mom. She is usually busy at magic school or with the others and I would give anything just to have her give me the kind of attention you get from aunt Phoebe".

"Well then, you want to be her daughter?" Felicity asked. "She'll give you all the attention you want." Felicity didn't know why she didn't like her mother so much, she didn't use to, but that was before Lilly died. And Felicity had changed dramatically after that whole event. She wasn't sad or depressed, she was kind of nothing on the inside when it came to family stuff, but with her friends, she was the same old Felicity.

Melody sat up and looked at Felicity "what is wrong with you, you aren't the only one that lost someone you cared about. We all experienced that loss but we have to move on and shutting each other out isn't the answer. You should at least talk to your mom, tell her how you feel, she at least deserves that much".

Felicity scowled and turned away from her cousin. She couldn't think of what to say, but she definently wasn't going to talk to her mom, not for a while at least. She just couldn't talk to anyone, holding it in was the way Felicity was now. But tears had come to eyes. "You don't understand..." She hadn't just lost her sister like Melody did, but she lost her dad too, just like Kaelyn and Henry did.

Melody sighed as she saw the expression on her cousins face. "I may not understand how it feels to loose a father as my siblings may, but I do understand how it feels to loose a sister and it hurts a lot especially when you don't have anyone to turn to. Every since Lilly and Linda's death I have been on my own without anyone to talk to. Can you imagine how bad it hurts when your own mother won't comfort you, she just pushes you away? Do you even know how bad that hurts"?

"I used to... but now I guess... I'm the one that's pushing away," Felicity sniffed as her red eyes turned back to her cousin. "I'm the youngest too Melody, Lilly was the one I always went to for advice, not Keira, or even my Mom sometimes. And my dad was always there too, and that just added to the pain." She sat up too, clutching her hot pink pillow.

"I know Linda was the one that was always there for me, we did everything together. Linda was my best friend, she always seemed to know when I needed to be cheered up and she knew just how to do it. I mean I love mom, dad Kaelyn and Henry but its just not the same anymore without Linda there to cheer me up".
