Inhaling deeply, Lexi strolled through the park, looking around to all the people who were just so happy to be out. People were walking their dogs, their were kids playing. Not that anyone could blame them, it was an absolutely gorgeous day out. She had walked here, not wanting to risk orbing. Not only because of exposure to humans, but exposure to the elders. She knew it was harder for them to keep track of her when she didn't use her whitelighter powers.
She had spent the last month ignoring them. Ever since she lost her charge. They actually managed to get hold of her a little over a week ago, telling her that she would have a new charge soon and that if she didn't listen, they would clip her wings. Well she ignored them all week an they still didn't do anything about it. Yet the stupid jingling now did start to annoy her, but she did begin to get used to it.
She sat herself down on a swing, yet she wasn't really swinging, just sort of rocking back and forth. Well if anyone ever asked her what it would be like after she died, she would have never guessed anything like this. She still felt so alive and just how she felt before, only now every legal record on her said she was dead. She wasn't even able to see her own brother anymore. She died for him, most likely leaving him depressed with guilt and she just wished she could talk to him, make sure he was okay. But of course there was a rule against that.

Keira stumbled over a tree root which always tripped her as she walked along the park. She managed to balance herself though. It was a beautiful day, and while her aunt Piper had told her to clean the attic where she had made a mess, she couldn't resist and had easily left the house. As her hair blew about in gusts of wind every now and then, despite the perfect weather, she tied back her hair and instead enjoyed the breeze which seemed to relax her.
Walking around she realised she wasn't the only one enjoying the cool, but not cold weather. There were people ranging from five to fifty walking their dogs, families out on a picnic and she saw the children running around the parents and some trees before being called back to their parents. She spotted a girl in a swing, though she wasn't swinging really- more just rocking back and forth. After so many years of helping her aunts and mom with innocents, she easily spotted someone depressed and knew when to back away and when to approach.
This time she went and took a seat in a bench not too far along from the girl- speaking distance at least, and with her telepathy sensed the girl was upset about something.

Alexis glanced over when she noticed someone nearly trip, but the girl had kept her balance and went to sit down on a bench. Something seemed different about her, Lexi was fairly well at picking up on the differences in certain people, yet here she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She looked away, not wanting it to seem like she was staring. As she pondered her thoughts about who the girl could possibly be, she was suddenly interrupted by a familiar annoying jingling.
Rolling her eyes, Alexis glanced upward, "How in the world did u find me this time?" she whispered, hardly even audible since she didn't want to look like a crazy person. She thought she was careful about keeping herself hidden from them. It had been a few days since she even orbed or used any of her powers for that matter. She was starting to wonder if they just had a tracker on her or something.

((OOC: Can you type out the word you instead of u?))
Keira raised her eyebrows at the last thought Alexis had- something about a tracker. Keira wondered what she was worried about, and didn't even notice her whisper something. Her eyes were focused on ground in front of her and concentrated on her telepathy, so it just appeared as if she were thinking. She had never realised how useful the power was- but then again, it never worked for her despite having it for a good few years.
In the past she had merely gotten flashes of thoughts but now she could go directing into the person's mind. Then again the fact her forcefield no longer worked properly, always going up around the wrong person or not at all, was a great loss for her. Finding her voice she decided someone had to say something, plus she had a feeling she was supposed to know this girl. "Are you alright?" she asked. "You look worried."

((Yeah Sorry about that, I usually do, I guess I just did it without realizing))
Alexis looked to the girl, thinking she must have heard what she whispered. "Oh, um yea. I'm fine" she said, still getting a vibe from her. Maybe she was someone that she was supposed to meet? It would explain why the elders jingled to her, afterall, she had made it obvious she wasn't about to answer any of their calls, so they may have jingled to give her a sign that she was supposed to know this person. Then again, she had a habit of over-analyzing situations sometimes.
Then again, there was a possibility that she was a bad guy. It wouldn't suprise her if there were some demons out for her. Lately, Alexis had been doing a bit of demon hunting, mainly lower level demons since she had no actual witch powers. But just incase this was someone she was supposed to meet, she didn't want to be rude and just blow her off. "I'm Alexis" she said sticking her hand out when she introduced herself.

Keira suppressed rolling her eyes at Alexis considering she was evil. She wasn't supposed to know what Alexis was thinking after all. She remained seated as Alexis streched out her hand. "Am I supposed to walk there?" she asked pointedly, but she was smiling lightly.

Alexis hadn't even realized that they weren't within hand-shaking distance until then. "Oh, right, sorry," she said with a small laugh as she lowered her hand again. She usually found it easy to laugh at her little mistakes. She was usually fairly smart and knew what she was doing. But there were times, like now, that her common sense seemed to just not be there. It wasn't exactly the best first impression but she didn't think it was that big of a deal.
Well she still wasn't too sure who or what this girl was, she wanted to be careful, although she didn't exactly get the evil vibe from her. Still, with her current situation she had to be cautious. Yet she wondered if maybe she was someone that could help her, or if it was someone she was supposed to help. Alexis decided it was best to wait until she knew more about her before going into those kind of subjects, she didn't need anyone thinking she was crazy.

"I'm Keira," she added, realising she hadn't introduced herself. "Keira Halliwell," she added, waiting to see if her last name had any reaction. She normally hated people knowing her name- she preferred a fresh start and to earn their trust herself, not by her name. This time though if Alexis knew her name, that meant she was magical and Keira would be free to talk.

Alexis hadn't been a whitelighter for long, but she knew who the Halliwells were. She had never met one until now, but she had heard stories of the charmed ones and their children. She raised an eyebrow at Keira as she looked to her. "Your a Halliwell?" she said, as if she needed her to confirm what she had introduced herself as. Of course she didn't wait for the response, "So that would make you a.." she said, letting her sentence drift. She didn't want to say witch outloud, there were too many people around, and she didn't want anyone to over-hear her.

I knew it she thought, glad that she wasn't wrong. She had gotten the reation she wanted. "Yes, I'm Phoebe Halliwell's daughter," she confirmed. A woman who looked to be in her older thirties stopped. "You're the daughter of that advice columnist on love?" she asked. "Yes," said Keira. "Tell that stupid woman to quit her job...she cost me my love life," said the woman, causing Keira to wince. The woman walked away leaving Keira without a reply. She gave Alexis an awkward look. "Sorry about that."

Alexis smiled and shook her head "It's okay. If it helps any, I like your mom's column. Besides I doubt it was your mom's advice that ruined her love life. I'm taking a bet that it was really that ladies hair," she said with a small smirk as she looked to the woman that was walking away, she wasn't exactly sporting an attractive hairstyle. She didn't really want to jump out and ask for help after just meeting her. Besides, she seemed nice, there was no harm in getting to know her. "So what's it like being a Halliwell, I mean with your mom and aunts being who they are?" she asked curiously.

Keira smiled at Alexis' insult on the lady's hair. Keira didn't open her mouth to reply on time as another question came. She had gotten that question before, but her answer was never the same though they all meant the same thing. "Apart from being attacked by demons almost daily, fine," she said. "But honestly we have a normal life...well if you could call being you-know-what normal," she said, meaning witches. She had seen someone look over alarmed at the word demon.

Noticing someone look over, Alexis got up and walked over to the bench Keira was sitting on and took a seat. She decided that this way they could talk a little quieter so people wouldn't hear their conversation. She was a little suprised that growing up with the charmed ones wasn't all that weird, at least she didn't make it seem weird. Then again, Alexis grew up without ever even knowing about magic or demons. It was when she died that things got weird. "So, what can you do?" she asked, referring to her powers obviously.

"Well my powers love screwing up on me- the only ones that doesn't are darkness balls, hate balls and of-course my teleportation," she said lowering her voice now that Alexis was closer. "The two that screws up are Telepathy and Force Fields," she added. "What about you?" she asked, absently playing with a leaf she had picked from one of the trees earlier.

"I'm a whitelighter," she said quietly, still not wanting to bring any unwanted attention to them. "I can do pretty much what any whitelighter can, orbing, healing, hovering, glamour, sensing" she said, knowing Keira obviously knew about whitelighters and their powers, from what she was told, the Halliwell family had quite a few whitelighters in the family. "I just don't really use my powers very often anymore." she said, shrugging her shoulders a little.
