Keira had two school lives- Magic School, and High School. She enjoyed both but recently people had been noticing how she was. She had gotten over her sister's death alright (even though its best not to bring it up) but she still wasn't...herself, even after five long years. She felt as if she had lost that part when Lilly died. Everyone had been telling her recently to get out and have some fun. So she had decided to do that...just not in a place they might have expected.
Well no...alot of Magic School students liked to come in the Devil's Market to see what type of stuff it had, or vanquish demon for fun. Another fun part? They had to dress like a demon...and their parents didn't know. Keira was currently in a tight black halter top and a three-quater lenght black pants. She hid clothes she used to go in the Underworld far back into her wardrobe. Very far back. Only Kaelyn, her room-mate knew where it was...and well Linda and Lilly used to know as well but that didn't count now did it?
Keira walked through the portal to Devil's market, her black heart earrings swinging as she walked through as you always experienced a wind when you did. She looked around at everything. Now this was taking the advice.

A golden orb slowly descended into the middle of the forest outside the demonic marketplace. It went a ways off though, so that the person didn't show up like that right in front of the guards, because that obviously wasn't a demonic way of teleportation. Once the orb got almost to the ground, a bright light came from it, and once the flash of light disappeared, the figure of Zander was standing on the spot. He was wearing pure black pants, and a tight black sleeveless shirt. He also had on a pair of dark sunglasses.
Zander walked slowly but surely out of the trees and towards the guards of the gate. They stepped out of the trees and immediately questioned him. He payed no regard to their question and just brought his hand up enough to lower his sunglasses slightly. "Open the d**n gate or pay the consequences," he said strongly. They opened the gate, and Zander stepped through, the wind blowing his hair lightly.
Once inside the marketplace his eyes shot around. He wasn't positive what he was there for, but why not. He had nothing else to do, and he had heard a lot about this place. As he began to walk around, he saw this girl. He wasn't going to approach her until he saw what she was wearing in her ears. His eyebrow lifted lightly, and he walked up to her.
"Now excuse me for disturbing you, but what kind of demon wears heart earrings?" He asked, his eyebrow raised the whole time as he stared into her eyes, waiting for her reply.

Keira walked over a a stall. There was a sign marked Evil Magic Ornaments on a crooked piece of wood. She glanced over at the amulet section and there was one with a triqueta pendant and a label marked Poisoning amulets. She felt as if something had stabbed into her heart and regretted coming to that stall. She turned away but a clear, harsh voice behind her spoke.
"I see you are interested in the poisonous amulets my dear["/i] he said silkily.
"Don't ever call me your dear." What well she had to act like a demon, she couldn't just say yes or no.
"So can I interest you in buying one then?" he asked her, ignoring the comment.
Keira opened her mouth but didn't answer. She didn't want to so she just walked away into the crowds, and then to another stall that wasn't too crowded but looked interesting. She didn't get to see anything yet though as someone came up to her same time. He looked evil but something his eyes weren't cold like most demons. The eyes always gave it away. "They're black...black hearts means evil. Couldn't you figure that out?" she replied.

Zander raised an eyebrow lightly at the reply of the girl. It surprised him slightly. It was kind of abrupt, but not one like you would expect from a demon, but that didn't mean that she wasn't one. "Yes, I understand they are black. I'm not color blind... Although that wouldn't make a difference because they would still be black..." he said, trailing off on the last phrase. He quickly snapped back upright and continued to look into her eyes. "But, they are hearts nonetheless," he said strongly. He knew that demons wouldn't typically wear hearts. It may not have been unheard of, but there was just something different in this case.

Keira laughed a true laugh at what he had said- something that immediately let her out for being good. He had apparently forgotten that even if he was colorblind they would still be black. She noticed about three warlocks looking at her.She formed a hateball in her right hand which could be different colors depending on how strong she made it- this one was a fire-red color which wasn't that hateful but still, it was intimidating.
"Someone have a problem?" she asked in a voice that told them to back away. Two of the warlocks walked away and one looked back down at an atheme he had been looking at. She looked up at Zander. "These don't kill...they infuriate hate," she explained, making the feiry-colored ball vanish from her hand. She had received some strange powers for a half-cupid...but she only ever got one cupid power and that was Heart Blinking so...

Zander smiled when she laughed. So it was obvious that he wasn't evil either. But it's alright, he didn't think that anyone else noticed his smile. He nodded slowly when Keira showed him the hate ball. "Nice, I don't really have any cool powers like that," he said, smiling lightly all the while. It was sort of true though. Thought Projection was a pretty awesome power, and extremely rare, but he had to have the stuff in drawings for it to work, which was why he carried around the small notepad that he doodled on in his pocket. It had many drawings already in it. And his only other power was orbing in a golden orb.
((He doesn't know about his destiny stuff yet.))

He had smiled! She knew he wasn't evil. "What powers do you have?" she asked. She didn't particualrly favour her powers, but they were cool. Forcefeild was helpful but boring and her Darkness and Hate balls were...well she loved them. She could never work her telepathy though. If it did work, it was annoying- it gave her a headache at times. Her Forcefeilds didn't always work either so it was like she didn't have the power.
((When's he gonna find out?))

The smile came onto Zander's face once again as she asked what powers he had. He was very glad that she asked because he wanted to ask, but didn't really have enough courage, especially in the demonic marketplace. Sighing lightly, he looked back up to her. "Well, I have teleportation, golden orbing. And I have these drawings..." he said as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small notepad, opening it up. He flipped slowly through the pages, showing her drawings of atheme's, fireballs, animals and other stuff. "I can make them become real," he said, very quietly so that other people didn't hear him. Keira knew what power he was talking about- it was a rare power, she knew that much. "Ahh...my cousin has that power," she told him, but didn't bother to lower her voice. She wasn't saying what it was and demons always talked about powers so it didn't matter that time. "It's a witch power," she whispered. She had to make sure no one heard that one or she'd get the boy she was talking to in danger.
"I have darkness balls...that makes someone be blinded by darkness for depending how powerful that person's power is," she told him. "And the hate balls, but I have two powers that hate me- telepathy and forcefeilds. Both are useful but they always screw up so I almost never use them." she told him. "I have teleportation too but its a cupid's teleportation...heart blinking." She made sure no one was listening to them before introducing herself. "I'm Keira Halliwell, by the way." She hoped he wouldn't recognise the name Halliwell, sometimes it could be annoying. She didn't know that he had met Kaelyn before though.

Zander nodded lightly when she said that her cousin had the same rare power as him. That's kind of strange isn't it... two people that live in the same town having the same rare power. He was going to respond to her first comment but then she introduced herself and his jaw dropped slightly. He knew that he shouldn't say her name very loud because people might hear and recognize it, which is why she said it quietly.
He wasn't surprised because he knew of Halliwell's being Charmed, because he didn't. But he did know of the Charmed One's, just not that their name was Halliwell, he just knew that there was a powerful sisterhood of witches called the Charmed One's. But he was surprised because he knew the last name Halliwell from Kaelyn. "Oh wow... I know Kaelyn," he said lightly.
After that he revisited what he was going to say to her first comment. "Those sound like cool powers to me. For some reason, I almost felt like there is something more to mine, but I can't put a finger on it, and I haven't really experienced any others that I am aware of." He said, wondering just exactly how insane he sounded when he said that.

Keira watched his mouth drop open and thought he knew the name but then he mentioned Kaelyn. "Really? She never mentioned it..." said Keira. Well Keira had been a bit distant lately so that wasn't much of a surprise. She was glad that was the only reason he knew her name though- she wouldn't be judged and trusted just for being a Halliwell. If he ended up trusting her it would be for who she was, not what her name was.
"Well that can happen...if someone's not away of a power well...it's never discovered unless it shows itself," she told him. "If you want you can talk to my mom and aunts about it...they're good at stuff like that. They've been Witches for a long time," Keira offered.

Zander shrugged lightly when she said that Kaelyn hadn't mentioned her. It was not long ago that they met, so it wasn't really a big deal that she hadn't spoke of him. Truthfully, you don't tell family every single person that you meet. "Well it wasn't that long ago that we met. That may be why," he said lightly. "Or maybe she just didn't want you to know," he added, smiling.
Zander nodded lightly at her second comment. "Alright, I could do that sometime," he said lightly again. He looked around to make sure no demons were listening in because they were exchanging some information that demons would have a fit with. He turned back to Keira slowly. "I'm Zander Aduro, by the way," he said lightly as he had just realized that he hadn't said his name yet.

"That's probably why," she said when Zander suggested that it was because he and Kaelyn hadn't met too long ago. "We share a room so if we meet someone new we'd talk to eachother about it," she explained, as she knew he might have found it odd that Keira would expect Kaelyn to tell her.
"Nice to meet you then," she said, smiling, when he told her his name. She had only then realised that she didn't know his name all that while. A guard on the inside then spotted her smiling. "Hey," he said gruffly. "Who are you?"

Zander was once again about to reply to her statement when the guard came over. He probably saw them smiling, great. This was going to be interesting. "Why does that matter? I don't see you asking anyone else that question. What makes us so special?" He asked, glaring straight for the guard. He held his notebook firmly in his hand while he slowly flipped the pages until he found the page with the atheme drawn on it. He was just getting prepared.

Melinda appeared north-east of the market with blue orbs circling her. Melinda was always careful to orb to a place where the guards couldn't see her. She had been here many times, so many times that she knew the market like her own home. And of course she came disguised. It was something different every time. This time it was a gray tank top with a black mini skirt. On her brown hair was a black headband holding her carefully styled hair out of her face.
Walking up to the gate, she nodded curtly at the guards and attempted to walk past them. They seemed to be staring at a boy, and... was that Keira? Melinda stared as the guard walked over and the boy started flipping through the pages of his notebook. Watching quietly, she noticed him stop on a certain page. It was then the second guard noticed her.
"What's your business here, girl?" the guard asked rudely. Melinda replied, looking appalled, "Shopping, duh." The guard raised his eyebrows and opened the gates. Melinda gave him a cold, mocking smile and walked slowly over to Keira. Stopping next to her like she dropped something, Melinda bent over and muttered to Keira, "Nice outfit. Who's the boy?"
