Kaelyn orbed into the underworld from the attic. She had slammed the door on her way out. Lately she seemed to be having problems with her powers and were snapping at everyone. Maybe it was just a side effect to her rage power. But what happened in the attic had really got to her - first Zander had made a comment that she was stupid. Kaelyn was really sensitive to that kind of a thing because a demon had once made a comment that because she was blond, she was stupid. Then Keira had used her old nickname. One that only her twin sister had got away with.... It hurt her now when anyone called her it.
She walked round, looking for any demon to take her anger out on. She heard a noise that made her stop in her tracks. She knew there was a demon close by. Even if she couldn't see him. "Come out, come out where ever you are." She said sounding more confident than what she actually was.
As she spoke a large number of demons shimmered and flamed in. 'Uh Oh!' She thought to herself. She was hugely out numbered. I am in huge trouble here. She tried to orb out, but it wasn't working. What a time for them to stop working!
"Look who it is guys! Little Blondie here wants to play with the big boys." "Don't flatter yourself.... I was here by a mistake!" She turned away but there was demon behind her too. Orbs appeared around one of the demons, she raised her hand and threw him against one of the spikes. Vanquishing him. A demon grabbed her by her wrist. "You just made a huge mistake witch! We don't like Halliwells down here!" She tried to pull arm away from him but her was stronger than her. Before she could use any of her powers. She felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She looked down to see an atheme stuck in her, A demon had stabbed her! Sneaked up on her.
Her top turning crimson from her blood. The demon let go of her and she dropped to her knees. She could feel herself slipping out of consciousness. Her eyes going funny. She could only just make out the images of the demons going to finish her off.

Keira knew where Kaelyn normally went if she ever got angry, which wasn't often she got angry- The Underworld. She had felt terrible at calling Kaelyn by her old nickname- it always upset her. Keira had never made the mistake before, though she remembered the time Kyle did and Kaelyn didn't talk to him for quite a bit after that. There was also the stupid thing which triggered the anger.
She walked along the Underworld aimlessly, though she knew a spot where Kaelyn would go looking for demons. She headed there, her sandals making almost no sound at all- Keira had learned to walk stealthily in the Underworld. For some reason she had a bad feeling about being here. Kaelyn said a voice in her head and she had learned not to ignore that voice. She picked up speed, worried now and turning a corner she saw a sight that placed a fear in her that she hadn't felt since she saw Lilly and Linda being poisoned.
"Kaelyn!" she yelled, and she started running towards her cousin reminding herself irritably of how she had reacted that day in Zankou's Chamber. She saw Kaelyn's top turning crimson and it was obvious she was losing alot of blood. Keira felt another stab of fear at seeing the demon form a thermal ball in his hand- that would finish off Kaelyn in a matter of seconds considering the state she was in. Keira stopped where she was, about a foot away from the demons.
"Hey" she said, ignoring that they were about over a dozen demons there. Her fear always managed to turn itself to anger,"Don't mess with the wrong Halliwells," she said dangerously and she convinced herself it wasn't an empty threat. She placed an invisible forcefield over Kaelyn- which wasn't hard as her powers were screwed up so it went over the wrong person.
"We're not messing with you...we're just killing your little cousin here" said the demon and he threw the thermal ball which unexpectedly bounced back and hit him. He flew backwards on another demon who was stabbed with a second atheme from the first demon's hand and both of them disappeared in dust as they were vanquished. She formed a darkness ball and threw it at two demons who had ignored Keira and were going towards Kaelyn, and they were covered in darkness. She threw another darkness ball and another demon was also lost in the darkness.
There were still at least five demons, three of which shimmered out. The other two looked at their companions and did the same. Keira had a feeling they'd be back though. "Told you not to mess with me..." she said before rushing over to Kaelyn's side. She winced at seeing her cousin like this and gently took out the atheme. "Kaelyn...I'm so sorry," she said quietly lifting Kaelyn's head off the ground and hugging her, much like what Piper and Phoebe had done alot of times. It was all Keira's fault- Kaelyn wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her slipping up as always. "I'm sorry..." she repeated.

She heard Keira's voice, only faintly. She winced with the pain as she pulled her atheme out of her. She could feel her cousin next to her but she was trying to stop herself from slipping into unconsciousness which she was fighting and losing battle with. With the blood loss she could feel herself getting weaker. She looked at Keira but couldn't hardly see her even though she was close to her. "Sorry...." She managed to say. "Tell my mum I'm sorry for putting her though this again." She knew she was going to die... She was sorry for making everyone go though it all again. Her mom had already lost Linda.

"No..." said Keira, tears coming to her eyes. She had lost, her sister, she had lost her father, she wasn't going to survive this time if she lost Kaelyn. Her aunt Paige was going through enough, she couldn't lost another daughter, Keira couldn't let her. She knew it was selfish but she mostly wanted Kaelyn to survive for her. Kaelyn wouldn't get to see and live in their dream apartment if she died now, she wouldn't get to see anything. She wouldn't get to complete her studies...she would be gone.
"Kaelyn...you can't leave me," she said in a pleading voice, tears falling from her eyes. She had made the mistake of suppressing her emotions once before, she wasn't going to do it now. "Uncle Leo! Aunt Paige!" she yelled out, her voice sounding abandoned and empty as it echoed into the darkness of the underworld. It was no use- they couldn't hear her when she was in the Underworld. She took a very shaky breath. "I'm not going to let you die..." she said as she hugged Kaelyn tightly, her own hands and clothes getting blood stained on it. She didn't care about the crimson stains. Kaelyn had become the sister she lost when Lilly died without even taking Lilly's place- she couldn't lost that sister, not again.

Paige's wonderings in the Underworld didn't turn out to be as useless as Leo and Kyle said. They told her it was dangerous to just hunt demons but Paige didn't hunt she just observed. She wanted to be prepared if something striked. But that night had nothing to do with demons. Instead Paige walked in on the scene she feared more than anything. ''Kaelyn.''she heard her whisper echo. She stood for a moment or two before running up to them. Everything she feared was happening. She had no idea what happened to Kaelyn but she knew it wasn't good at all. ''Keira, what happened?!''she demanded an answer from her niece but her voice was scared, not angry. ''Piper!Paige!''she let out a piercing scream although they wouldn't hear her. Her shaky hands lifted over her daughter trying to heal her.

Zander knew that part of what set Kaelyn off had been his comment about her delayed reaction. He did not mean it like she was stupid at all, because he did not think that she was. And although he knew that Keira's comment was a bigger reason that she was angry, he still felt somewhat responsible for her being mad. And so he decided that he would find her, and apologize to her. He had never really been very good at tracking people, but for some reason, he knew exactly where she was, and he appeared there in a floating golden orb.
But the scene that was happening once he got there is what surprised him. Kaelyn, dying from an atheme wound. What had happened? As he looked around, it became much more obvious. Although there were only a few demons left, shrouded in darkness, he could tell that earlier there had been more. Kaelyn had come into the Underworld to get rid of some of her anger, and had been outnumbered.
Zander felt tears well up in his eyes and his entire body seemed to go numb. He hadn't known Kaelyn for very long, but he did treasure her friendship. Also he felt that it was partly his fault that she was there in the first place, if his comment hadn't gotten her angry to begin with, maybe she wouldn't have taken Keira's comment so hard.
Although he tried, Zander was unable to move out of the spot where he orbed into the cavern. He wanted to try and help, although he didn't know what he could do to help, but he still felt like he needed to try. As a small tear rolled lightly down his warm cheek, Zander blinked his eyes closed, trying to keep himself from letting anymore fall.

"My fault....." she said weakly as her mother asked Keira what happened. "I'm sorry......." She repeated again. The best that she could manage, She groaned with the pain that shot though her small frame. She gripped Keira's hand as tightly as she could.... but it was weak. The color had completely drained from her face. "I never meant to hurt you...." She whispered as a few tears fell down her face.... She was scared, but tried not to show it. Her pain was enough.

"No..." she said as more tears fell when Paige came. "It's not your fault," she told her, her voice breaking as she realised how weak Kaelyn's grasp on her hand was. "Don't say that..." she saw a bright golden orb and knew it was Zander but she couldn't look over at him- she wasn't going to stop focusing on her cousin at the moment. She felt as dizzy as Kaelyn, as she didn't want to know what was happening so her mind was trying not to...but she had to accept it.
"I should've never done that...." She was going to say it was her fault but instead began to cry even more, her tears falling on Kaelyn's now blood-colored clothes. Her stupid slip up was going to cause Kaelyn her life, and she didn't want to accept it, she didn't want to be the cause but she was.

Paige grabbed her daughter's hand,''No, Lyn-bean, you can't stop fighting, please sweetheart, I can't... I won't let you die.''she said trying to do something but nothing at all worked. She didn't even catch herself use the nickname she had for her daughter which she didn't use for years since Linda died. ''Keira...''she whsipered hopelessly not knowing what else to say,''Keira I can't let her die..''she whispered her heart ripping apart. She didn't even sense Zander behind her.

Zander could feel the tears slowly start to fall from his eyes, and run down his cheeks, leaving small water marks behind. He quickly brought his arm up to wipe away the water marks as he took a few steps closer to Kaelyn. He felt bad getting too close because everyone else here was her family, but Zander wasn't. He only took a few steps closer, and blinked his eyes closed. He couldn't look at Kaelyn, it was too painful. "I shouldn't be here," he said lightly. He was obviously feeling guilty and like he shouldn't be there because he was not as close to Kaelyn as the rest of her family there was.

Her breathing became shallower, feeling herself slipping in and out of consciousness. "Mom.... I'm cold." She was losing feeling, she had lost too much blood and her pulse was dropping fast. She knew she was going to die, her mom couldn't heal her. She was sorry for putting her mom though losing a daughter again. Kaelyn wasn't go to see the apartment that her and keira was going to move into. The kind of apartment that Kaelyn had been planning since she could remember.

Paige knew even CPR wouldn't help here since her daughter already lost way too much blood. ''Please don't die...''she whispered knowing her wish wouldn't be granted. Her trousers and top were covered in her daughters blood. She just held her daughter however she could, her heart breaking from pain.

Keira took one of her hands that had been holding Kaelyn since the demons left, and shakily picked up her hand that wasn't gripping Keira and felt the pulse. She gently put the hand back in Paige's lap and that, along with how cold Kaeltn was told her that her cousin wasn't going to survive. She held back her tears for a moment as she looked around and saw Zander there. As she looked back at Kaelyn though, who's pale skin was getting even paler by the minute, she felt the familiar feeling she had felt of a shattering heart brutally as it had when Lilly and Linda had died. She looked up at Paige who was going to lose a second daughter, and saw and felt the pain in her aunt's brown eyes...she didn't need empathy to feel that pain in her aunt. She tore her own anguish and tearfilled eyes back to Kaelyn who she could tell was going to die in her arms.

Kaelyn closed her eyes, She lost consciousness. She couldn't fight anymore.... She didn't have the energy or the strength to fight anymore. She wouldn't wake up again. After a few silent moments she took her last breath... She died in her cousins arms.

Zander's eyes got wide as he knew that the time for Kaelyn was coming to a close. How could this even be happening? They had just met, and he knew that there would have been a great friendship ahead of them. This was not fair. He kept his gaze staring at Kaelyn, tears pouring down his face as it happened. She was out of her misery now, but theirs was just beginning.
