Warning! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Spoilers present in this thread! Turn back now if you don't want to know what happens! Well.... where to start. I apologize for my absence since Saturday, but I did not trust being on the internet before I had finished the book. Spoilers are everywhere, sometimes without warning, so I didn't want to come on and find out what happened before I read it myself, so now that I finished the book, I am on. ;DLet me just begin by saying... I loved the book! It was much, much better than I thought that it was going to be. And the main reason for it being much better, Harry did not die! I definately thought that he was going to die, so I had grim thoughts of the book, but, he didn't!For those of you who need a recap, or didn't read the book but want to know what happened.... First off, I strongly advise reading it... because it's amazing. But the main deaths that I am concerned about in the book are, in order of death I believe, Hedwig; Mad-Eye Moody; Ted Tonks (Tonks' Father); Fred Weasley; Remus Lupin; Nymphadora Tonks; Bellatrix Lestrange; and Lord Voldemort (aka Tom Riddle). I am sorry if I missed anyone... And I don't know the order of Lupin/Tonks because it just said that Harry saw their dead bodies laying next to Fred's. I assume that they died just about together.I don't know why either, but probably the saddest death for me personally, was.... Hedwig. Maybe it was because it was the first, maybe it was because she was just an unsuspecting little owl, I don't know, but I probably felt the saddest for Hedwig. Although Fred's was pretty sad too, because they went into more detail with it than most the others. I am not sure that I can do much of a synopsis on this book though, like I did on the last one, because this was, unfortunately, the last book in the series, and so I don't have any predictions to make or anything. But I can probably muster up some things to say, lol. One thing I must say I am a bit baffled at is the secret keeper part of Number 12 Grimmauld Place. I was reading the FAQ on JK Rowling's site, and one of the questions was what happens to the house since the secret keeper died. And she responded that the secret died with the secret keeper, so no one else could learn about the house, from that point on, only those who knew about it's existence from Dumbledore, could get in. But then in the book it said they all became secret keepers, so that confused me. And I was really hoping that that would be Dumbledore's eye in the mirror fragment, but alas. It had to be Aberforth. And the Epilogue was really cool, but I wish that it would have been longer, because I would have liked to know more. Know more about Teddy, of whom both his parents died that night, fighting. Harry was his Godfather, and he had Tonks' mother who probably raised him. He would have been around nineteen in the time of the epilogue, yet for some reason, he was snogging someone in or around the Hogwart's express... hmm.. But the main part that I wish that she would have said was what Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione did! I wanted to know what their jobs were sooo bad! I wanted Harry to be Headmaster, although he had always wanted to be an Auror. And I really wanted them all to just teach at the school like Neville did, lol. What are your guys' thoughts?

It was a great book, And I wish that J.K Rowling would have expanded the epilauge and made it more discriptive, Maybe even add a new plot, but that could be a little weird so I can tell why she wouldnt do it, But I would definatly reccomend the series to any reader.
The death that almost made me cry for somereason was Mad-Eye-Moody, And I have no clue, But I did cry when I heard that Tonks and Lupin died, Because they just had a kid and they had to part with him, Fred, OMG that was heart breaking but all I could think was that now they would know which one was George, And I know thats kinda mean but it's true.
As For Harry and Ginny's Son Albus... That was kinda weird, becuase it was Albuse Severus, and probably potter, or weasly as the last name, I can under stand why Harry would put Snapes first name as his son's middle name, But for somereason it's wierd. Snape was decieveing Voldey, Which I thought was the most twist I have ever read, And I loved it, Go Snape!
I cannone believe how Rowling did that, But I can say that it was great and how much was told in the book, And I loved the plot in the story and everything, But one question
What happened to Gryffindors sword after Griphook stole it?

Erm...Logan...what about Dobby? Or Snape? They died too! What did they die in vain? Dobby and Hedwig were the only deaths that really surprised me. Well...no, Moddy surprised me slightly, only cause it would have been too easy to guess that he was gonna die. I knew Fred was gonna die, don't know how but yeah I wasn't surprised. But yeah Hedwig was the saddest just because I wasn't expecting it, I mean come on, an owl? The sword was stolen from Griphook again, of-course. They think the sword belongs to them but it doesn't, not really, it belongs to the Gryffindors. Or more specifically the Gryffindor who needs it most. In the Chamber of Secrets it was Harry. In the lake, although Ron didn't draw it out of the hat, it was Ron. In the end it was Neville. I'm thinking that Godric put an enchatment on it, to make sure that the sword always belonged to Gryffindor. I thought it was sweet that Lupin died. It's like the marauders back together again. Feel a bit sorry for Teddy though... Well...the house belonged to Harry. And they've been to the house... I was glad that it was Aberforth's eye. I mean when you see a book in a fantasy book you always want them to come back to life and that's just freaking ridiculous. It gave a sense of reality, though, when it was really Aberforth's eye. The epilouge didn't describe much just because we have a good sense of what happened. Like Harry probably is an auror. It told us things we wouldn't otherwise know. Like Draco growing up to have a proper life (cause you do wonder if he actually appreciated the fact that Harry saved him), Neville become a professor, and the fact that Harry didn't resent Snape for hating him for so long but actually was gratefully of his courage enough to name him Albus Severus. About Snape and Lily...that was a bit surprising but it makes sense doesn't it? Why it took so long for James and Lily to get together. James wasn't ever going to stop hating Snape and ily wasn't gonna take that unless she had a reason to hate him too.... I liked Dumbledore's history too. Makes him not as good and holy as everyone thinks. It makes him a person who learned from his mistakes. Like the rest of us

Yeah, yesterday I realized that I forgot Dobby, who would be inbetween Ted Tonks and Fred Weasley, but I hadn't realized I had forgotten Snape, lol, who would have been after Dobby, or was it after Fred? I am not completely sure.
And I was happy that Snape turned out to be good, because even though I didn't really ever like him, I still wanted him to be good, because that just rocked, lol.
One of my favorite parts in the book though was when Harry was talking to Dumbledore 'in his mind' the only part that I didn't like was Dumbledore telling the story about Ariana, because it was like the third time it had been told, and it was a long story, so it kind of got tedious for me to read yet again.
