Hogwart's Regenerated
Ever since the young Harry Potter found out about his wizarding heritage on his eleventh birthday, his life took a complete turn, and he was no longer the forgotten boy, quite the opposite really. He was The Boy Who Lived, everybody in the wizarding world knew his name, and he became the famous wizard, destined to put Voldemort's reign to an end. Although not many wizards truly believed that Voldemort was coming back, he did.
With his best friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, Harry set out to be the one to defy all odds, show them that Voldemort was back, and finally make it so that he could never kill another innocent person, never hurt anyone else. After the destruction of all seven of Voldemort's Horcruxes, including the one attached to Harry's own soul; and the losses of many people close in Harry's life, including Fred Weasley, Mad-Eye Moody, Hedwig, Dobby, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, and many more, Harry never stopped. Those deaths just made his conquest hold even more importance in his own heart, because he had to stop him and his dominions from hurting anyone else. And so finally, Voldemort was defeated. And the wizarding and muggle worlds both finally saw real peace.
Hogwart's castle, left in pieces after the battle, was put back together in no time, with Minerva McGonagall being Headmistress. The trio and friends went their separate ways for a while, trying to figure out what to do with their lives, all having their own aspirations. But it wasn't long before they couldn't stay away from each other any longer. They had been such good friends with so many feelings for each other, that them being together again was inevitable. Hermione and Ron, from the start, had this undeniable chemistry, and it wasn't long after the trio reformed, that they pronounced their love for each other and got married. And it was only a few months after their marriage that Harry and Ginny got engaged, and married soon after.
As they all lived happily, not too far from each other, McGonagall contacted them, asking them all to come work for the school. Even though they had not finished their schooling themselves, they were some of the brightest and most daring and talented students the school had ever seen. They all accepted, overjoyed that they would all be living together again at the place that brought them together in the first place. The first place that Harry had really ever felt at home, now he was returning to, to pass on his knowledge to the students to come.
Although during the battle of Hogwart's, now down in wizarding history, the houses had disbanded somewhat, at Slytherin being more concerned at saving their own hides, or helping the other side. But that has changed now, although Slytherin is still known as the bad-ass house, but most of them truly aren't cold-hearted like they used to be. Since Voldemort had been defeated, the families of the wizarding world seemed to just become more light-hearted and just plain nicer. But of course there are still those families who believe that Voldemort was right, though the numbers are dwindling.
Recently, there have been rumors floating around the school that there is a new witch in the school, that has shown superb magical abilities, but doesn't exactly have the nicest attitude. It has even been said that she is muggle-born. Though the rumors flow, no name has been passed around, and no face has been put to the accusations.
Apparently the peace had lasted too long, and now it was time for some turbulence to grow within the school once again...
