Melody was walking through the parking thinking about her relationship with her mom. She loved her mom but she felt as if her mom cared more about Linda and Kaelyn than her. She could remember when she used to follow her mom all the time but now its like her mom just constantly pushes her away which really hurt her alot although she never really told anyone how she truly felt. Melody watched a couple of girls go by with their mothers which felt like a blow to her ego because she began to realize how much of a disappointment she was to her mom and she realized maybe thats why her mom didn't want to have anything to do with her.

Paige curled up on one the benches in Kenwood Park with a nice book to read. She wasn't actually the type you'd often find reading but she enjoyed it here since it was peaceful and comfortable.Paige didn't notice her daughter when the girl appeared near her, so occupied with the book.

Melody found a nice shade tree to sit under. She hadn't noticed her mom curled up on the benches. She continued to watch the other girls with their mother's wishing she could have that same relationship with her own mother but she wasn't that lucky. "You guys just don't know how lucky you are" Melody mumbled under her breath. I have to stop this, I can't continue to torture myself like this she thought to her self as she tried to stop the thoughts that were rushing through her head.

Kyle made sure no one was around when he orbed into the park. When he got there, he saw Paige curled up on the bench reading. He smiled as he walked over to her. "Hey honey" he said as he sat down next to her, looking to see what she was reading. He didn't notice that his daughter was sitting against the tree.

Melody continued to lean against the tree watching the other girls with their mothers. Melody began to envy the other girls and the closeness they seemed to have with their mothers. "Maybe she will actually care if I get attacked or run away" Melody said to herself as her eyes were filled with unshed tears. She felt like such a reject that she was seriously considering running away from home.

Kyle sensed someone, someone hurting. He looked and saw his daughter, Melody, sitting against the tree. "Poor thing" he said as he looked at her. He had to do something to fix this. "I'll be right back" he said as he went over to his daughter. "Hey Mel" he said, sitting next to her.

Melody looked up as her dad sat beside her "hey" she said in a low voice as she looked at the other girls having a good time with their mothers once again. "I am such a reject" she mumbled under her breath as she looked down at her hands.

He felt bad for her. He knew it was killing her, and he was going to fix it. "Mel, you are not a reject. Not to me" he said, as he gave her a reassuring smile. "And you know mom doesn't think you are a reject either. Apparently you have the same mindset. She's right over there" he said, pointing to Paige.

"I am a reject at least to her I am" Melody said as she looked back at her mom then at the ground. "She doesn't want to see or talk to me, actually I don't think I even exist to her". "Maybe she will be happier if I'm not around anymore" Melody said in a low voice as her eyes continued to fill with unshed tears.

He moved in front of Melody. "Don't say that. You know that isn't true. You two just had a fight, that's all. I will bet you anything that she loves you very much and is very sorry for how she treated you" he said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Why don't you go over and talk to her, then make up your mind?" he said, makign a deal.

"Its the truth she doesn't care what happens to me, I am just a no good for nothing reject to her, as a matter of fact she doesn't even acknowledge that I exist in her life" Melody said. She looked back at her mom once again "as far as she's concerned I might as well not exist" Melody said in a sad voice.

"Let's make a deal" he said, as he looked into her beautiful eyes. "You go over there and talk to her. If things go well, you stay. If not, you can go" he said. But as he said it, he felt his heart breaking. He didn't wan't to loose his daughter, not another one. But he was giving her a choice.

Melody sighed as she stood up "ok I'll go but you have to come with me" Melody said giving him a pleading look. She knew her mom didn't want to see her. She was prepared to walk away if her mom rejected her this time. "Maybe I can go help Katie, we can find a place for the both of us if I decide to leave" Melody whispered.

Kyle smiled and got up. "I will" he said, smilign at her. "That's my girl" once again saying, offering his hand to his daughter. He was hoping that he could convince her to stay. Even if he had to use a spell. He couldn't loose his child.

Melody just stood there"dad I can't do it, she'll hate me even more" Melody whispered as she cast a look of sadness towards her mom then back at the ground. "How if she rejects me, I don't think I can stand being rejected by her" Melody said. "If she rejects me, I don't know what I'll do".
